HUBS1 Receives Prestigious Red Herring Global 100 Award

Leading GDS Operator Honored for Innovation and Technological Excellence

(January 15, 2010 - California) - HUBS1, a global leader in Global Distribution System (GDS) operations, has been named one of the Red Herring Global 100 Companies of 2009. This remarkable achievement marks HUBS1's second Red Herring award in the same year, following its recognition as one of the Red Herring Asia 100 Companies of 2009.

The Red Herring Global 100 Awards are a prestigious acknowledgment of outstanding privately-held companies from North America, Europe, and Asia, lauding their innovation and technological accomplishments within their respective industries. HUBS1 received this honor at the 2009 Red Herring Global 100 Awards ceremony held at The Ritz-Carlton in California.

Renowned as a benchmark for venture capital and often referred to as the "bible" of Silicon Valley, Red Herring is a global media company dedicated to discovering and promoting emerging technology. The Red Herring Global 100 list serves as a symbol of the most promising new companies and entrepreneurs worldwide. Red Herring's editorial team has a history of recognizing trailblazing companies like Google, Yahoo, Skype, Netscape, Salesforce.com, YouTube, and eBay, which have reshaped our lives and work.

"We are deeply honored to be recognized by Red Herring as one of the most outstanding technology innovation companies, not only in Asia but globally," said Teddy Zhang, President and CEO of HUBS1. "HUBS1's mission is to revolutionize China's travel distribution industry, and this honor further strengthens our determination to develop the online travel transaction market in China."

Selecting the best companies from the past three years was no easy task, according to Alex Vieux, Publisher and CEO of Red Herring. "After fierce competition and deliberation, we narrowed down our list from 1200 candidate companies to 200. Selecting the final 100 from these 200 was even more challenging. Companies awarded the Top 100 title should take immense pride in their accomplishment, given the exceptionally fierce competition," he stated.

Red Herring's editors evaluate candidate companies based on both quality and quantity, assessing factors such as financial performance, technological innovation, management quality, strategy, and market share. They also compare these companies to peers within their respective industries, ensuring a thorough assessment that uncovers and promotes a select group of companies offering the most significant global business opportunities.
