Duetto Launches Asia-Pacific Headquarters

October 24,2014

Duetto has announced the opening of an Asia-Pacific headquarters in Singapore, along with the appointment of Patrick Andres as regional vice president and Amanda See as vice president of sales.

Lee Pillsbury, said the move validates growing demand for Duetto's technology in Asia-Pacific markets, and the ability of the company to scale quickly in the region. Pillsbury is a Duetto board member, the founder of Thayer Ventures and Thayer Lodging, and a pioneer in creating synergies between emerging Asian hotel companies and American technology leaders.

Duetto's entry into the Asia-Pacific markets could not be better timed, or more urgently needed," said Pillsbury. "As hotel owners in the region continue to build out their business operations and create pricing strategies, they are interested in adopting best in class solutions in revenue strategy and related areas of marketing and distribution. Duetto's breakthrough technologies will accelerate this process and help hotels keep up with the urgent need for innovation and forward-looking solutions.

Pillsbury has played a major role in the launch of more than 15 new companies, including internet services provider TIG Global and Chinese central reservations system innovator HUBS1. As CEO of Thayer Lodging, he executed a $200 million joint venture agreement with Jin Jiang Corporation of China, resulting in the acquisition of Interstate Hotels and Resorts, the largest independent hotel and resort operator in the world.

Our expansion allows us to service increasing demand for Duetto's core revenue strategy solutions throughout the APAC region," said Patrick Bosworth, CEO of Duetto. "We are delighted to welcome Patrick and Amanda, two executives with decades of regional leadership in hotel revenue strategy, sales and distribution, to lead this effort.

I am extremely excited to join Duetto," said Patrick Andres. "The company's vision for transforming the field of revenue optimization comes at a time when Asia-Pacific hotels need tools to help transform their businesses, and help increase profits and asset values. I look forward to building our team and regional service capabilities to realize these objectives in the months ahead.

Last week, Duetto announced the opening of its EMEA headquarters office in London. In July, the company announced a $21 million funding led by Accel Partners to continue its expansion into key markets around the globe.
